The Digit Assistant ✨ (wand button) partially solves your puzzle using the simplest elimination techniques. All unsolved cells flip to note mode, showing only the candidates that no digit already in the same row, column, or box rules out. In an X puzzle the diagonals count too.
As you enter answers, the assistant automatically updates the remaining candidates to reflect your new digits.
At the two easiest difficulties, Quickie and Easy, the assistant will eliminate everything for you — we prefer doing these levels without it!
You can toggle the assistant on and off with the wand button in the action bar below the digit buttons.
Reset elimination: Long-press (or right-click) the wand button to restart the assistant from scratch, undoing any manual candidate edits you've made.
